British Cod Comp November 2011

This year's Cod competition gave us a few good fish on Our Gemma;

The first fish of the competition was a 17lb beauty!

Throughout the competition we had 3 good sized cod, but they were just not quite big enough to clinch the win this year

With the weather against us, we still managed to get a good trip in, catching Whiting & a nice 7lb Cod, caught by the youngest angler on the boat. With only one previous trip under his belt, he showed us how it was done!

Cod January 2011

This 16LB beauty was caught by local lad Alex. It was a rough old day but the lads who are boat owners themselves, insisted we went out. They were rewarded with this cracking cod.
